The Benefits of Our Private Accident Insurance:
Disability Benefit:
The disability benefit is financial compensation paid when the insured person is permanently disabled due to an accident. The amount of payment often depends on the degree of disability, which is expressed as a percentage. Different degrees of disability and corresponding payments may be specified depending on the insurance policy.
Accident Daily Benefit:
The accident daily benefit is a benefit that pays the insured person a certain amount of money for each day they spend in the hospital due to an accident. This is intended to cover additional costs during the hospital stay that may not be covered by other insurances.
Accident Hospital Daily Benefit:
Similar to the accident daily benefit, the accident hospital daily benefit is designed to mitigate the financial burden associated with a hospital stay due to an accident. The insured person receives a daily cash benefit for each day in the hospital.
Death Benefit:
The death benefit is a benefit that is paid out in the event of the death of the insured person due to an accident. The insurer pays a predetermined amount to the named beneficiaries or heirs of the deceased. This benefit is intended to help relieve financial burdens for the living relatives.

General Overview of Private Accident Insurance
What is Accident Insurance?
Accident insurance is a type of insurance that provides protection and financial compensation in the event of accidents. Generally, it covers accidents leading to injuries or death, offering benefits such as hospital expenses, rehabilitation costs, disability benefits, or death benefits. Private accident insurance is specifically designed to offer financial protection in case of accidents. Unlike statutory accident insurance, which exists in many countries and mostly applies only to workplace accidents or direct commuting, private accident insurance covers accidents in various aspects of life. Before deciding on private accident insurance, it's important to carefully compare policies and ensure that the chosen coverage meets individual needs. You can purchase private accident insurance online from Techafull at affordable prices with comprehensive benefits.
What Does Accident Insurance Cover?
The exact coverage of accident insurance may vary depending on the insurance policy, but typically includes a range of benefits in case of accidents. Here are some common coverage areas:
Disability Benefits:
If the insured person is permanently disabled due to an accident, the insurance provides disability benefits. The amount of payment often depends on the degree of disability.
Death Benefits:
In the event of death due to an accident, the insurance pays benefits to the named beneficiaries.
Hospital Daily Allowance:
A daily cash benefit for each day spent in the hospital due to an accident.
Recovery Benefit:
A one-time amount or daily payments to support during the recovery phase.
Cosmetic Surgeries:
Costs for necessary cosmetic surgeries due to accident injuries may be covered.
Rescue Costs:
The costs for rescue and recovery after an accident may be reimbursed.
Who Needs Private Accident Insurance?
The decision to buy a private accident insurance depends on various factors and individual circumstances. Here are some groups of people who might consider getting private accident insurance:
Working Professionals:
Individuals working in professions associated with an increased risk of accidents (e.g., construction, craftsmen) might consider private accident insurance to obtain additional protection beyond statutory workplace accident insurance.
Athletes:
Individuals regularly participating in sports, especially high-risk sports, can benefit from accident insurance, as many standard health insurances may not fully cover certain types of sports injuries.
Families with Children:
Children are often more active and prone to accidents. Accident insurance can provide additional protection to cover medical costs or other financial burdens in the event of an accident.
Self-Employed and Freelancers:
Individuals without a fixed employer, who wouldn't receive worker's compensation in the event of accidents, might benefit from private accident insurance to cover income losses and medical expenses.
Elders:
Older individuals might have a higher risk of falls due to age-related limitations. In such cases, accident insurance can serve as additional protection.
Does Getting Accident Insurance Worth It?
The decision to get accident insurance depends on various individual factors. Here are some considerations that can help in the decision-making process:
Occupation and Lifestyle:
If you have a profession associated with an increased risk of accidents or if you lead an active lifestyle, accident insurance may be worthwhile. This is especially true if your profession or recreational activities are not covered by statutory accident insurance.
Family Status:
Families with children might consider accident insurance to ensure additional protection for their children, who are often more active and have a higher risk of injury.
Existing Insurance Coverage:
Review your existing insurance coverage, including health insurance and statutory accident insurance. Make sure that your existing policies provide sufficient protection before purchasing additional insurance.
Financial Situation:
If you would face additional costs in the event of an accident and cannot easily bear them financially, accident insurance could provide sensible protection.
Personal Risk Tolerance:
Some individuals engage in riskier activities. In such cases, accident insurance can serve as protection against unforeseen events.

No insurance coverage exists
- for travels to or through states where war or civil war is already ongoing, and for persons who enter the crisis area in anticipation of a possible war or civil war,
- for active participation in war or civil war,
- for accidents caused by nuclear, biological, or chemical weapons.
2- Accidents caused by:

as long as they practice sports below the first - for handball and ice hockey below the second, and football below the third - German division or performance class.
Accidents that happen to the insured person because they, a legal representative, or a custodian intentionally caused them.
Example
Let's imagine that a person named Anna has taken out a private accident insurance policy. Anna is a passionate cyclist and regularly rides in traffic. One day, she is hit by a car and suffers serious injuries that require a lengthy hospital stay and rehabilitation period.
Here is where the various benefits of the private accident insurance policy come into play:
Disability Benefit:
Anna suffers permanent physical impairments as a result of the accident. The disability benefit of the accident insurance comes into effect, paying her a predetermined sum based on the degree of disability.
Accident Hospital Daily Benefit:
Due to her injuries, Anna needs to be treated in the hospital. The accident hospital daily benefit of her insurance policy pays her a daily amount of money for each day she spends in the hospital. This additional money can help to cover the costs incurred by the hospital stay.
Accident daily benefit:
In addition to the hospital stay, Anna also needs time to recover at home. The accident daily benefit pays her another amount per day during this recovery phase to mitigate income losses or additional expenses.
Death Benefit:
Suppose the accident tragically led to Anna's death. In that case, the death benefit of the accident insurance would pay a predetermined amount to her named beneficiaries or heirs. This sum could help to mitigate financial burdens for her family.
In this example, the private accident insurance policy demonstrates the importance of being financially protected in the event of unforeseen events such as serious accidents. It provides additional protection beyond the regular health insurance coverage and helps to manage the financial impact of an accident.
